"Hello everybody!
Sorry its been so long since I last wrote... a lot of creative foraging has been going on under the dark cover of winter, along with snowy walks in the Sussex Downs, a billion cups of tea, an ever expanding jumper collection and lots of re-reading of childhood books... And now, finally, spring is here!
I am very happy to announce that we will be doing a live outing to Australia in June to play two nights at the Sydney Opera House! I’m so excited to take the live show over there, as we have never played Oz before. We are hoping to play an eclectic set - a mixture of full band, string quartet and perhaps a few musical surprises? It’s a pretty big one to start out with?!!! - bit nervous, but can’t wait to meet you all!
There are also a lot of new songs, films, drawings, paintings, ideas - all of it coming together slowly but surely. It may still be a while, but I’m looking forward to sharing the new record with you.
Finally, I will leave you with a picture of my new kitten. She has been both a great new friend and a brilliant hot water bottle these past months! Ha!
